This game, with the coop or AI can generate quite a few funny events.

I have three that I was part of which spring to mind.

Concierge Service for you sir ?.

I had to capture someone and as luck would have it had just cleared a base with an APC so went after them in that.  It was surprisingly nippy and I managed to get ahead of them and block the road.  Not wanting my team (AI) to shoot the autocannons at him after he got out, I also got out (followed by my team) and shot by him to scare him in to submission.  Well I scared him... right in to my now empty APC which he promptly drove off in leaving me with a massive Homer Simpson moment (Doh!).

Any landing you can walk away from.

With some randoms we were doing some sub missions and flying to the next one in a heli when we got targeted and attached by a missile on vertical landing.  The missile hit when we were about 20m above the ground and we all bailed hitting the floor followed by the flaming wreckage.

The tortoise and the Hare.

So hunting another guy for interrogation, I was flying the chopper (blackhawk style) and positioned it so a door gunner could take out the escorts and then proceeded to go for landing but it was a narrow mountainous winding road and took me a bit of time to position before landing.  One of the team (of randoms) got impatient and jumped then used their parachute to get down quicker.  They did, right in to the path of a car and was promptly run over  :3_grin: .

What are your best funny moments ?.

Landed our helicopter at a rebel hideout...step out of the chopper only to have a flat bed TRUCK pop-in spawn on my colleagues head! I get around the chopper and the truck is there...under the helicopter and on top of my buddy... yikes!

I.... lose helicopter.

Parked one too close to the edge. It slid down the valley. I chased all the way down. It was a large valley, so was quite a long run down. But it wasn't damage when it finally reached the valley floor.

Another I lost be getting out too early when landing on a road. It drifted away. And, continued on into the river, still running, but slowly still sinking.

These are some player shenanigans that my friends and I came up with.  @g1nt3r and @Voyager42 we're here for some of these.

Booted:

I had a friend riding in the trunk of my car.  I paused driving for a second because it hit a car or something so he jumped out to get in a seat.  As he jumped out of the trunk, I proceeded to kill him backing up and runing him over.

Get out of ze choppa:

Same friend was with me when we were testing HALO jumps from a chopper.  We found the choppers have a ceiling of 2.5km, so we did some jumps from this height.  The first time we were in Montuyoc, we wanted to see if you could dive from the chopper into the Red Lake.  He found out the hard was that the lake wasn't very deep.  Watched his name fall, fall, fall and then wham, it was gone.

Biting it:

I read in the load screen that you could find high cliffs and then basejump off them and use your parachute.   I found a nice high cliff, ran off the edge and proceeded to "trip" (I think), fall off the cliff and eventually die scorpion style.

Oh! SO WISH i WASNT UNWELL RIGHT NOW.... I went to bed early last night so didn't get a chance to upload it.

Suffice to hint - Motorcycle + Clear base jumping point.

I tried the old motorcycle with C4 Battlefield trick but it doesn't seem to work.  Rather than jump off the bike and let it keep driving along for a bit, you just seem to lay it down.  Too bad, I was pretty good with his kind of weapon in Battlefield.

It's happened to me. Maybe there is a trick to it, maybe only when going down hill or it is already airborne on a bounce. But i have lept of a bike and it keeps going. Same with cars, so maybe down hill or at a certain speed.

Well, here you are...because we're dumb..

So, on the first jump, what wad tge bounce? Was it the bike? I heard tgat people jump out of a falling helicopter at the last moment. Did he survive?

So playing solo last night.  Was getting a bit cocky with the heli landings and jumped out of the 'Blackhawk' just as I got a landing bounce which resulted in my standing in a field with the big heli slowly banking off sideways in to some trees around 5ft off the ground in the background.  The resulting black plume of smoke indicated that I wont be using that one any more but luckily there was another in the base I had landed by.

In a multiplayer mission for destroying the Sub (no 1), I blew the sub and then ran around the sub shed, which had a burned out Unidad heli on it, and up on to its roof whilst being fired at by all the aggro'd troops.   Little did I realise that one of the soldiers had climbed in to the helis smoldering charred remains and was manning the minigun facing across the rest of the roof and they cut me and another random I was with to shreds as we tried to escape.

he couldn't exit the bike on the way down...hit the ground square with the bike still attached THAT made him bounce about 100m+ into the air and threw him off the bike. Unfortunately whilst you're flailing you can't use your parachute.

Helicopters - if you time your exit right you can step delicately out of a crashing chopper and survive perfectly.

Really surprised by that. must remember lol.

There is meant to be base jumping with chutes? A few of of us tried it and all met crumply ends. The height may or may not have been enough.

The area and that cable car station looks like its perfectly set up for base jumping to be honest. If you notice it even has a little ramp that we used...I'll revisit and we'll try with a car next time if we can!

BTW - the cable car station is one of the parts of The Peruvian Connection missions.

Yes, yes there is.  I saw it in the load screen tips (I think) but I've yet to find a good place to do it.  I've only tried a couple times but always end up putting my legs up and through my torso or completely blow my face out in a hardcore scorpion.

Chopper fights back:

So, I picked up the 6x sniper scope today and was testing it out with some HTI chopper sniping.  I managed to easily massacre a chopper and watched it come raining down on top of a building.

While I was meandering around the building, I found a good angle on the chopper and was admiring my handiwork when I saw some movement inside the chopper.  Being the ninja that I am, I snuck up on the side to find out the gunner wasn't dead.  I know this because he cut me in half with the mini gun he was manning.

@Voyager42 took out the pilot and then was quickly gunned down by the same mini gunner that shredded me.  When we respawned the chopper carcass was gone.

More chopper hijinks:

We continued to snipe choppers throughout the night and had multiple close calls with one of us shooting down a chopper and then almost having it smash one of us to bits as it crashed to the ground.  There were also a handful of times when we took a chopper out (by luck) from a long distance and it got "stuck" hanging in the sky where it was destroyed.

One of @Voyager42's better ones ended up lading on a slight slope on the skids.  It then proceeded to slowly slide backwards down the slope as I walked along and admired the charred and bloodied Unidad soldiers still sitting in their seats.

LOL!!! This is particularly impressive as he clearly forgot the lake is only ankle deep to a Flamingo ! HAHAHA!!

Guess you'd call it a bug. Was hiding from an overrun of unidad. They seemed to have found me but unable to shoot me in the bushes. By the sound of their Spanish, they are none too pleased about it.
