The way weapons, talents and mods work have fundamentally been changed. Some weapons appear in different categories, different weapon classes have different bonuses and the overall handling and design has been changed. Let’s take a look.
The most recent Intelligence Annex showcase five skills and their modifications. The skills can have up to five modifications each focusing on a playstyle, some even being tied to the Specializations. Whether you're a support, tank, scout or DPS there is something for you. The current skills you can choose from are the Chem Launcher, Drone, Hive, Seeker Mine, Turret and Ballistic Shield. With the exception of the last one we are taking an in-depth look at them.
So I am looking to up my characters skill power to boost my pulse and possibly smart cover as well. Most of my gear has been recalibrated to add mod slots for health and tech mods and I currently have the following gear / slots available. Gear with 2 mod slots: 2 Gear with 1 mod slot: 3 Gear with no mod slots: 1 I only have 1 tech mod currently which I am using (the rest are health mods). The question I have is, would it be better to recalibrate the mod slot to a + XXXXX skill power bonus where possible and loose the mod slot or would it be better to try and get more tech mods ( all mods are < 150 tech points for me at the moment). Which gives the biggest 'bang for the buck' ? Oh and please ignore the fact that mod slots are more versatile if you wish to swap around at a later day. Just interested to know if mods (up to 150 points) or + skill power bonuses will give more skill power. Thanks
Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked before. I was wondering if someone could list what they think the best weapon mods are for each weapon type. I don't mean the talents you should aim to get on each mod (e.g critical hit, stability etc etc) , I mean the specific type of weapon mod to maximize your weapon's DPS (e.g flash hider, extended magazine etc etc). My knowledge of this kinda thing is rubbish so I'd appreciate the help! Cheers
So I stopped playing about a week before the incursion update and now I want to get back into the game. From my understanding, there was an AUG blueprint (which everyone is using now) that was sold by one of the vendors, but is no longer available. So I guess my question is, what weapons are available now that are viable in PvP? Also are there any specific mods blueprints I should pick up?
