okay so i launch the game and 5 min into it my computer crashes and restarts. Ive tryed everything from driver updates(3 different versions), turning off antivirus, verifying cache, redownloading game, bought more RAM for pc, larger heatsinkand fan for cpu(in case it was overheating, but never does),removed DirectX and vcredist folders from directory,  ran as administrator,  tweaked the game quality to lowest settings possible, and booted the game from both steam and uplay.evryone keeps saying to refund it but i like it too much.

please can someone help i know its not my computer since this only happens for the division and i ran the can you run this program and my computer meets the requirements.

my pc specs:

win 10 64x

24gb RAM

AMD 8 core 8350 4.00GHz

msi 990 motherboard

nvidia 750ti graphics card

2tb harddrive

Hey AR,

Your specs are fine from what I see. And you've tried all the basic stuff. If you have it on Steam, have you verified the game cache? Right click the game, properties>local files> verify integrity of game cache.

Hope to hear back soon,

Have you updated your Nvidia driver recently? The most recent driver is causing issues (utterly killed my operating system!). Roll the driver back to the previous one and see how that goes.

So far you're lucky, when it did this to me on the 3rd crash my PC immediately went to BIOS and wouldn't fully load Windows 10 at all. I've since performed a full reinstall of my OS (not a major issue for me as I have a separate SSD for that) and so far its been fine. I will skip the current Nvidia update.

Ya I already rolled back I was at the364.72 and rolled to 364.51 still crashed but I think my graphics card is the problem. Using Msi afterburner when I run it it runs at 77-84% then crashes when it peeks 88% also my clock speed only runs at a solid 1346 MHz the entire time so I might have to upgrade

I' m getting critical_process_died and then my hard drive has to be repaired. I'm on my lap top to look for answers, please help.  I use two screens  with task manager so I can see whats going on and my C: drive is going to 100% and staying there then a few mins. into the game it crashes but it has no read or write values. Windos is recognising all RAM and using it with no vertual RAM from the hard drive . This only happens with this game. I have a  Intel 3.5 processor, Liquid cooled,16G ram,4 HD, my OS is on a SSD by itself (C: drive).  I can play Seige fine. This is the only game that I have issues with. I have already read the other post before posting this and I did all this stuff. Does anyone have anything else?

Just a thought, you've recently installed a chunk of RAM, already have a Ti card and two mechanical hard drives. What's your power consumption?

My initial thoughts is the memory leak issue that's been documented on the official Ubisoft forums. As above maybe try drivers as a route cause but not sure about this one.

i have a 600w PS i believe it pulls it all that could be the problem

Possibly but always worth a test, and as Diamonds said check core temps as well. Sort of clutching at straws on this one but once you go through all the possibilities you are likely to find the issue. Might also be worth checking the RAM as you've installed more recently a check on compatibility and that its functioning fully etc.

That said, was it turning the PC off before you did the installs or only after?

okay so get this i just bought rainbow six seige as well. launch and crash like division and i went out and bought a 750W corsair power supply and it did it still but after 20 min i think it has to be my gpu or cpu. AMD 8350 with 8 core says it should run my games and so should my 750ti im really confused?

And for the past 6 months I have been getting these random restarts when I play games. And not only graphically intensive games, it even happened once when I was playing Mine craft!
